Hi, I’m Brittany — founder of Brushed Wigs, hairstylist of 17+ years

My journey in beauty began in 2008 when I earned my cosmetology license from Paul Mitchell the School. Within just a year, I found myself managing a busy salon of 13 stylists — a fast-paced environment that shaped me as both a creative and a leader.

In 2014, I stepped away from the salon world to pursue my passion for on-location bridal and event styling full time. From countless brides to weekly e-commerce shoots with Pink Blush Maternity, I was immersed in creating looks that helped women feel beautiful during life’s most meaningful moments.

In 2017, I had the opportunity to work for Disney as a wig stylist — and that’s when everything changed. I fell in love with the art and transformation that wig styling offered.

Then, in 2018, after losing 90 pounds of baby weight, I also lost most of my hair. Out of desperation, I turned to a cheap wig from Amazon just to feel like myself again. But as a Caucasian woman looking for beautiful, realistic, and accessible wig options, the results were limited to none.

That’s when Brushed Wigs was born — out of a deep desire to create custom, natural-looking wigs for women like me. Today, I design every unit with care, precision, and an understanding of what it truly means to wear your confidence.
